New concept for the two wheels

The bicycle Orbital Frame si a  sport bike made for WFRIC (Wong Fong Research Innovation Center) Singapore in 2013.
Lenticular wheels, the absence of the air chamber into the tire, steering system tire high precision without direct connection with the front wheel. Later he was asked to provide an electric version.
Hepta managed the project from the concept phase to identify the nature of the project, the creative phase with drawings and sketches exploration, modeling and pre-engineering ... presentation of the final concept through 3d rendering

The bicycle is a very delicate project.
More than other vehicles, its geometry is related to the geometry of the human body.
Working around the "hard points" of the human body and mechanical devices Epata studied design aesthetic and functional.
Immediately you recognize innovative and aggressive style that characterizes this bicycle

A concentration of solutions

The project "Orbital frame" contains many innovations.
From without an inner tube wheel, the absence of a front fork, the steering system with the pneumatic circuit, flat batteries integrated into the lenticular wheel ...

All these innovations have been recognized as plausible by the engineers of robotic automation of WFRIC of Singapore.

The static model

The construction of a static model is the final step for the evaluation of the style and the first step towards the construction of a working model.
